Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a HireBee account or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use HireBee.
These Terms apply to employers (account holders) and, where relevant, to candidates who access the platform via an invite link.
2. The service
HireBee provides an async video interview platform that allows employers to:

3. Your account
You are responsible for:

5. Candidate consent
As an employer using HireBee, you are responsible for:
HireBee provides the technical platform — compliance with local hiring laws is your responsibility.
6. Subscription and billing
**Free plan:** Available at no cost with usage limits as described on the pricing page.
**Pro plan:** Billed monthly at the advertised rate via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
**Enterprise:** Billed under a separate agreement. Contact sales@hirebee.io.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
7. Data and content
You retain ownership of all content you create on HireBee (job listings, questions, notes). Candidate video recordings belong to the candidate; you are granted a limited licence to view and download them for hiring purposes only.
By using HireBee, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service.
We may delete content in accordance with the retention periods set out in our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and uptime
We aim to keep HireBee available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice.
Enterprise customers receive an uptime SLA as specified in their agreement. Free and Pro customers do not have a guaranteed SLA.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireBee is not liable for:
Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us during that period.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.
On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of HireBee after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
